The ninth issue of Entremons: UPF Journal of World History is now available. This issue includes, among others, articles on the relations between Egipt and Palestine after the Bandung Conference, the military propaganda of the Castilian Empire and the Exposición Iberoamericana that took place in Seville in 1929. It also features studies about the monetary use of cacao in New Spain and the electrification project developed in Catalunya at the beginning of the XXth century. Entremons coorganizes with Asiadémica a seminar entitled "Otra Historia" aim at fostering debate on the place African and Asian studies have in academia. The seminar will take place June 13 in Calsamiglia room at the Ciutadella Campus of Universitat Pompeu Fabra starting at 10:30h.
